The Ministry of Interior (MoI) declared the closure of Corniche Road on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from Sharq Intersection (Ras Bu Abboud) to Sheraton.
Commuters were urged to take alternative routes via Rafah Intersection (formerly Sanaa) to reach Doha Port and also advised to consider alternative routes when traveling to the Northern areas of Doha.
Additionally, Ras Bu Abboud Road is set to close on December 5, 2023, with redirected traffic and the closure of G-ring Road for traffic coming from Al Wakra toward Hamad International Airport Bridge.
Travelers bound for the airport are recommended to use the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor road.
